Ladies, when is the last time you indulged in an evening out for yourselves? Call a friend and attend HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital’s Women’s Wellness Event on Thursday, October 13 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Keller Convention Center.
The doors open at 4:30 p.m., with hors d’oeuvres and informational displays about St. Anthony’s Women’s Wellness Center services, Nutrition and Diabetes education, Prairie Heart Institute at St. Anthony’s heart care services, and stroke education, among other displays. Pamper yourselves with gift bags, door prizes, and a presentation on a topic that matters to you.
At 6 p.m., Ruben Boyajian, MD, Medical Director of St. Anthony’s Women’s Wellness and Cancer Care Services, will provide a welcome and introductions, followed by the feature presentation by Jessica J. Prange, MD, Cardiologist with Prairie Heart Institute at St. Anthony’s. Dr. Prange will speak on the topic, “Getting to the Heart of the Matter – Women’s Cardiovascular Health.” This year’s topic will provide information on risk factors, and signs and symptoms of cardiovascular disease.
Admission is free; however, pre-registration is required since seating is limited. Registrations will be accepted until October 5.
