From WCIA, a case of the West Nile virus has been confirmed in Vermilion County. It was found in a dead crow in Westvill, IL. The virus, which has already been found in 45 counties in Illinois this year, is carried by mosquitoes. Officials are saying that even though summer is almost over, people should continue to protect themselves from mosquitoes when going outside.
