Conservation police in Illinois and Indiana have teamed up to find hunters who are wrongly licensed in the two states.
It’s called Operation Double Dip, andĀ WCIA-TV reports the moveĀ has uncovered more than 200 fake licenses.
Police say it has resulted in more than $85,000 in fines.
Authorities say the goal of the program was to see that hunters are only licensed in one state.
Those found guilty will also not be able to apply for another license.
