Following a record setting day of ticket sales, single seats remain for the Garth Brooks World Tour shows scheduled for Friday, April 28 and Sunday, April 30. Tickets for both shows scheduled for Saturday, April 29 are no longer on sale. With more than 50,000 tickets sold on Thursday morning, Garth Brooks set a new personal record for ticket sales in Champaign. The record was eclipsed in less than 90 minutes of ticket sales. Garth sold approximately 48,000 tickets for three shows during his 1997 visit to Assembly Hall.

The Garth Brooks World Tour stop in Champaign was announced on Wednesday, March 1. This will be Brooks’ first appearance in Champaign since 1997 and his last stop in Illinois as part of his World Tour.
