Hoffman Relinquishes Masters Lead
(Augusta, GA) — Round One leader Charley Hoffman’s four stroke lead at the Masters is no more. Hoffman labored through a three-over par, 75 in the second round at historic Augusta National Golf Course. The round was a 10-stroke difference between Thursday and Friday, and now Hoffman is tied with Sergio Garcia atop the leaderboard at four-under par. Rickie Fowler is charging up to third, just one stroke off the lead. Fowler is four-under for the day through eight holes. Last year’s winner Danny Willett is a stroke away from not making the weekend, with the projected cut line at six-over par.
