Two Effingham men face charges in connection with two recent vehicle burglaries. According to the Effingham Police Department, 47-year-old Richard Griffin is charged with two counts of burglary and theft, and 32-year-old Michael Brown is charged with possession of stolen property. The pair is suspected in burglaries that occurred on South Banker in which more than $4,500 worth of DJ equipment and CDs were stolen from a van, and the theft of multiple power tools, valued at $1,400, from a work truck.
