One person was injured in a single vehicle crash early this morning. According to the Illinois State Police, a vehicle driven by Sean Sampson-Audorff, of Huntington, West Virginia, was eastbound on I-70 near milepost 137 when he said he fell asleep at the wheel. The car left the roadway and struck several small trees and a wire fence before coming to a stop about 100 feet off the roadway. Sampson-Audorff was taken to Union Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. He was ticketed for improper lane usage.
