Illinois Lawmaker Introduces Bill Banning Bump Stocks
(Springfield, IL) — An Illinois lawmaker is pushing a bill that would ban bump stocks in Illinois. Many of the firearms possessed by accused Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock were equipped with the devices. State Representative Marty Moylan introduced a measure yesterday that would ban the possession, use and sale of bump stocks and similar attachments that are designed to accelerate the rate of fire for semi-automatic guns.
