27,000 Without Power In Napa
(Napa, CA) — Officials in Northern California’s Napa County say two elderly people are dead and there is virtually zero-containment of the fires raging in the gem of California’s Wine Country. The Napa County Sheriff’s Department says its crews are being stretched to the limit due to the lack of relief personnel. More than 27-thousand people in Napa are without power. The wildfires have killed at least 11 people and scorched well-over 100,000 acres across California, most of them in Napa and Sonoma counties.
