A Christian County jury returned a guilty verdict yesterday on charges of first degree murder and aggravated battery of a child in the Robert Stivers trial. In February of 2016, Stivers’ four-month-old baby was airlifted to Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis, where doctors reported signs of bruising, fractured ribs and swelling on the brain. The baby later died. Sentencing is scheduled for March 8th.
