(Wayne, NJ) — Toys “R” Us plans to close another 200 stores following a disappointing holiday season. The latest belt-tightening will include layoffs for a significant part of its corporate staff. According to “The Wall Street Journal,” the company has also instructed managers to tell hourly workers they won’t be receiving any severance benefits due to the closures. Toys “R” Us recently unveiled plans to close about 180 stores after filing for bankruptcy.
