(Washington, DC) — Vice President Mike Pence is now a Sagamore of the Wabash. It’s one of the Indiana’s highest honors, usually given by the Governor to those who have given distinguished service to the state. Pence received the honor tonight at a meeting of the Indiana Society of Washington, DC. Pence said he last spoke to the group on the eve of President Trump’s inauguration, and he was humbled to speak before it for the first time as Vice President. Pence remarked that the U.S. economy is booming, wages are rising, and Hoosiers are playing a leading role in that comeback.
