Loyola Can Keep Dancing
(Dallas, TX) — Guess those experts who called Loyola a Cinderella-to-be weren’t wrong. The Ramblers hit a last second three-pointer to knock off the sixth seeded University of Miami yesterday, 64-62. Loyola kept the game close all day, and the game was tied with just over a minute left to play. Senior Donte Ingram fired off the game winning shot, then lead the team’s celebration. It’s Loyola’s first NCAA Tournament win since 1985. Next up for the Ramblers, the University of Tennessee on Saturday.
