(New York, NY) — Hackers now have the stolen information of more than five-million credit cards used at Saks Fifth Avenue, Saks Off 5th and Lord & Taylor stores. Hudson’s Bay Company confirmed the breach today, and says it has identified the issue and taken steps to contain it. Hudson’s Bay owns the retail chains and said once it has more information, customers will be notified quickly and offered free ID protection services. The company believes the cards were for in-store purchases only, and doesn’t suspect online purchases were affected.
