What’s that swimming in your water?
An Aquatic Conservation Youth Program will be presented by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for children grades K-6 at the Charleston Carnegie Public Library on Tuesday, April 17 at 4:00pm in the Craft Room.
This interactive program will focus on creatures that live in water and why it is important to practice good stewardship of this natural resource. The program uses several live specimen encounters with these aquatic conservation ambassadors and will also feature a craft involving painting with silicone fish so be sure to bring a T-shirt to decorate!
This is a free program and is open to the community. A library card is not needed to attend. For further information visit their web site at www.charlestonlibrary.org or call 217-345-1514.
