(Damascus) — Syrian aid workers say a chemical attack has killed dozens in a rebel-held Damascus. At least 49 people have died in the attack. Reports on the ground blamed the Russian-backed government forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, according to the Syrian American Medical Society. The Syrian government denies the attack and said rebels were spreading fake news. The U.S. State Department called on Russia to end its support for the Assad regime immediately.
