(Arlington, VA) — More people would rather take a pill or have a daily cup of tea rather than exercise to fight high blood pressure. According to the American Heart Association, 79 percent of people would take a pill for an extra month of health while 90 percent would take one for an extra year and 96 percent for an extra five years. The statistics showed about the same would drink a cup of tea to extend their life. For an extra month of life, only 63 percent would exercise to receive that extra month, 84 percent would for an extra year and 93 percent for an extra five years of life. Getting an injection was the least preferred of the options.
