According to a MPD press release, Mattoon Police arrested Tyler D. May, 24 years of age of Neoga, for the offenses of Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The arrest occurred on 4/21/18 at 2:51pm in the 200 block of South 14th Street in Mattoon.
The charges allege that on 4/21/18, Mr. May was operating a motor vehicle when stopped by police. The Charges allege that during the time of the stop, Mr. May possessed multiple baggies of Methamphetamine, and a digital scale. Charges also allege Mr. May was in possession of several prescription pills categorized as a controlled substance, without having a prescription for said pills. Mr. May was taken to the Coles County Jail.
