Health officials are reporting more illnesses from the E.coli outbreak. The CDC and the FDA released an update Friday on the national outbreak that is believed to be caused by romaine lettuce. Fourteen additional illnesses are being reported, bringing the total to at least 98 cases across 22 states. The new states reporting E. coli cases are Mississippi, Tennessee and Wisconsin. Officials say this particular strain of the bacteria is more severe than usual, and dozens of farms are being investigated as possible sources of the outbreak.
