The annual Spring Rendezvous and Links to the Future will be May 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Wolf Creek State Park at Lake Shelbyville. Enjoy lots of outdoor activities at this youth festival, including fishing, kayaking, archery, and tomahawk-throwing. Hosted by the Lincoln Trails Council Boy Scouts of America and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the event will also feature re-enactors, who’ll teach you history of American wars and the history of flags, and the Prairieland Frontiersmen will have exhibits on rope-making, blacksmithing, and wood-working. You can even learn how to fire a cannon. For more info, visit their Facebook page, or lincolntrailscouncil.org.
