(Washington, DC) — An American missionary has arrived in the U.S. after spending two years in prison in Venezuela. Joshua Holt of Utah boarded a plane in Caracas today for the flight to Washington, DC. President Trump is set to welcome Holt and his wife to the White House. The Mormon missionary was detained on weapons charges since 2016. Utah Senator Orrin Hatch and Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee helped win Holt’s release after he spent two years in captivity without a trial.
