Gusty winds have calmed down and Orange County Fire Authority air and ground crews are making progress in the fight against the Aliso Fire. The blaze is burning in Aliso Canyon, between the cities of Aliso Viejo and Laguna Beach, and has torched 150 acres, authorities said this morning. All evacuation orders were lifted in Aliso Viejo, and the brushfire is listed at ten-percent containment. Evacuation orders are still in effect for the Top of the World neighborhood in Laguna Beach. Roughly 400 firefighters are battling the blaze that threatened homes as well as structures at Soka University of America.
