Harley Davidson Shifting Production Overseas To Avoid Tariffs
(Milwaukee, WI) — In an attempt to avoid tariffs, Harley Davidson could be shifting production of its motorcycles destined for the EU from the United States to its facilities overseas. The motorcycle company announced today they wouldn’t increase wholesale or retail prices for its dealers because of the tariffs. Harley Davidson said they’re seeing an impact of between 90 and 100-million-dollars due to tariffs. That’s about 22-hundred-dollars per motorcycle that’s shipped overseas from the U.S. Harley Davidson added the tariffs would hurt customers’ access to motorcycles while also hurting dealers’ business.
