(Austin, Texas) — A new study finds a link between screen time and ADHD. Psychologist John Huber says it looked at more than 25-hundred high school students who found it harder to pay attention the more time they spent using digital media.
While Dr. Huber says the study doesn’t show that significant screen time definitively causes ADHD, it should raise red flags. He advises parents to balance their kids’ screen time with insistence on exercise and outdoor activity. The study is published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
Dr. John Huber says the study has important implications and recommends parents limit screen time.
