Red Sox Take 2-1 ALCS Lead On Astros
(Houston, TX) — The Red Sox are two wins away from a trip to the World Series. They pulled away late to beat the Astros 8-2 in Game Three of the American League Championship Series in Houston. Steve Pearce snapped a 2-all tie with a solo homer in the sixth and Jackie Bradley Jr. hit a grand slam in a five-run eighth for Boston. Nathan Eovaldi [[ ee-VAHL-dee ]] pitched six innings of two-run ball for the win. Joe Smith took the loss. Marwin Gonzalez and Alex Bregman drove in runs for the ‘Stros. Boston leads the best-of-seven series 2-1. Houston hosts Game Four on Wednesday.
