Effingham County high school juniors are invited to attend Lake Land College Day at the Kluthe Center on Friday, March 18.
During this preview day, students will learn about Lake Land College, specific opportunities at the Kluthe Center for Higher Education and Technology and choose from more than 20 different sessions on choosing a career, applying to college and paying for college.
“This is a wonderful day for local high school students to learn about the many resources available to them right in their own community,” Karen Kull, director of the Kluthe Center, said.
Attendance will be split into two sessions with the morning session from 8:30 – 11:10 a.m. for Effingham high school students and the afternoon session from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. for Pathways, Aspire Altamont, Beecher City, Dieterich, New Approach and Teutopolis high schools.
