Nate Likely To Strengthen To Category Two Hurricane
(Undated) — Millions of Gulf Coast residents are bracing for Hurricane Nate. The latest update from the National Hurricane Center says the Category One storm is now packing top winds of 90 miles-per-hour with higher gusts. Forecasters expect it to strengthen to a Category Two hurricane by the time it makes landfall tonight with parts of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama expected to take the brunt of the storm. Hurricane warnings and storm surge watches are in place all along the Gulf Coast. A Tropical Storm Warning has been expanded east of the Okaloosa-Walton County Line in Florida to Indian Pass.
