(Urbana, IL) — The first class at the University of Illinois’ new medical school could get out debt free. The university yesterday announced a plan to offer four years of free tuition, a 200 thousand-dollar value, to 32 students. The Carle Illinois College of Medicine already has 15 scholarships that are fully paid for. Students will begin at the school next fall.
