Dallas Love Field Airport Back To Normal After Evacuation
(Dallas, TX) — Thousands of people in Texas are going through some major holiday hassle on one of the busiest travel days of the year. A small fire forced an evacuation early this morning at Dallas Love Field Airport. The fire started around 4:30 a.m. as the airport was busy with people trying to get out of town and start their holiday break. Dallas Fire said overheated piece of air-conditioning equipment caused the small blaze and crews were able to get it under control within 45 minutes. Love Field officials are urging passengers to allow for plenty of extra time to make flights and get through long security lines.
