According to a press release from the Charleston Police Department, on Wednesday, 1.31.18, at approximately 8:27 p.m. officers from the Charleston Police Department, with assistance from the East Central Illinois Drug Task Force, conducted a traffic stop int he 1600 block of 6th Street. The stop resulted in the arrest of Patrick M. Graham, 22 of Charleston, formerly Darien, Illinois
During the traffic stop, a Charleston Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle, which resulted in a search of the vehicle. The search resulted in the seizure of over 40 grams of suspected cannabis and $1005.00 in United States currency.
Graham was arrest for Manufacture/Delivery of Cannabis 30-500 grams. Graham was placed in the Coles County Jail Pending Bond. The 2002 Nissan driven by Graham was seized pending a vehicle seizure hearing.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
