WIU Leaders Fear 50-Percent Enrollment Drop By 2022
(Macomb, IL) — Western Illinois University could see its enrollment cut in half over the next six years. “The Quad City Times” reported yesterday that the school is expecting eight thousand students on campus this fall. Western’s Director of Admissions, Seth Miner, says if enrollment doesn’t turn around, he fears the school will have just four thousand students by 2022.
