Father Of Waffle House Shooting Suspect Files Motion To Dismiss Lawsuit
(Nashville, TN) — The father of alleged Waffle House shooter Travis Reinking is trying to have a lawsuit brought against him by the family of a victim dismissed. The lawsuit alleges Jeffrey Reinking was negligent when he returned guns to his son after his Firearm Owners ID card was revoked in Illinois. One of the guns returned to Travis was used in the deadly shooting. The motion filed on Monday says the family of Joe R. Perez can’t make allegations that Jeffrey Reinking had a right to control Travis’ guns.
