Three people were injured in an accident on the Brownstown Blacktop yesterday. Illinois State Police say 32-year-old Joshua Lawrence, of St. Elmo went through a stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Robert Stonecipher, of Brownstown. 53-year-old Edward Willis, a passenger in Lawrence’s pickup, was ejected from the vehicle. He was flown to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. Lawrence was air-lifted to Barnes. Debra Stonecipher, the passenger in the other vehicle was taken to Fayette County Hospital.
