The skies will be full of shooting stars this weekend as the annual Perseid meteor shower returns. This weekend also brings a new moon, which means darker skies, making this years light show brighter than ever. Peak viewing will be Sunday night into Monday morning, with up to 70 meteors an hour visible. For optimum viewing, NASA scientists suggest getting away from city lights and giving your eyes up to 45 minutes to adjust to the dark skies.
