NU Running Back Retires After Cervical Stenosis Diagnosis
(Evanston, IL) — Northwestern running back Jeremy Larkin is hanging up his cleats. The sophomore football player was recently diagnosed with cervical stenosis, which is a narrowing of the spinal canal in the neck area or upper spine. Larkin had 346 rushing yards and 19 catches for 127 yards and five touchdowns in the first three games of the season. He was expected to lead the Wildcats backfield this season.
