There are reports of injuries and at least one death after a major earthquake hit Haiti early Sunday morning. The quake was centered about 12 miles off the northern coast of Haiti. It damaged some buildings, including an auditorium. Some people in the capital of Port-au-Prince reported feeling the earthquake, but it appears there was no damage there. Haiti sits on major fault lines and experiences earthquakes often. Thousands of people there was killed in 2010 with a 7.0 earthquake struck near the capital.
