Dozens Still Missing From Hurricane Michael
(Mexico Beach, FL) — Dozens are still missing in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael. In the small town of Mexico Beach, search crews are trying to find almost 50 people who are still unaccounted for. The town southeast of Panama City was one of the hardest hit places from the category four hurricane, with every home in the area being destroyed. About 250 people stayed behind to ride out the storm. With winds of 155 miles an hour, Michael was one of the strongest hurricanes to ever hit the U.S. At least 19 people have died from the storm.
