(Undated) — Digital access is affecting the success of young people in school. A Pew Research study reports that 15 percent of all teens live in households without high-speed internet, and 17 percent of teens say they cannot complete their homework because of this. The problem seems to mostly affect black and Latino teens as they often figure into the lowest-earning households. The study is meant to examine how the digital divide and homework gap between households is impacting America’s youth.
