Jimmy Dean Sausage Recall Due To Possible Metal Contamination
(Kings Mountain, NC) — More than 29-thousand pounds of Jimmy Dean frozen and ready-to-eat pork and poultry sausages are being recalled. The USDA says there have been five complaints of pieces of metal found in 23-point-four ounce pouches of Jimmy Dean Heat ‘n Serve original sausage links. The packaging has the case code A6382168 and a use by date of January 31st, 2019. No one’s gotten sick or hurt, but consumers are being told to throw away affected products or return them.
