A suspect has been arrested for a potential threat made against Effingham High School, earlier today. According to Superintendent Mark Doan, when they became aware of the possible threat, they immediately communicated with the student resource officer and the Effingham City Police who soon arrest the suspect. No information has been released about the suspect, who is currently in custody. All students and staff are safe, and police determined there are no current concerns regarding the threat.
