‘Friends’ Leaves Netflix In A Few Hours
(Undated) — The hit sitcom “Friends” will be leaving Netflix in a few hours and will not be available to stream for months. The popular streaming service lost the rights to “Friends” starting in 2020 to WarnerMedia. Fans of the show will have to wait until May to relive the adventures of Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey. That’s when WarnerMedia’s new streaming service, HBO Max, is scheduled to launch. The new year will also be the last for “The Office” on Netflix. It will be moving to NBC’s streaming service, Peacock, which is scheduled to launch in April of 2021.
