Mother Mourning Death Of Infant After Father Charged With Murder
(Coles County, IL) — A mother is mourning the death of her four-month old son after his father was charged with murder. Isaac Currey is facing two charges of first-degree murder for the death of Branson Currey. Mother Kayla Currey says she had been working overtime three weeks ago while her husband was watching Branson and the two other kids. Sometime while she was gone, Branson suffered blunt force trauma. She discovered Branson not breathing the next morning, and he was pronounced dead a short time later inside the ambulance. Isaac Currey will be back in court January 13th.
