Illinois Lawmakers Look At Sexting Lessons For Schools
(Springfield, IL) — Sex-ed classes in Illinois could soon include lessons on sexting. A proposal at the Illinois Capitol would have kids in junior high and high school learn about the dangers of sending naked pictures to other people. Rockford Democratic state Rep. Maurice West says parents often have no clue what kids are up to on their phones. He wants schools to talk to kids about the legal and long term consequences of sexting.
