Poll: Americans Overwhelmingly Call Trump’s Iran Behavior “Reckless”
(Undated) — Americans overwhelming say President Trump’s behavior with Iran is “reckless” and has made the U.S. less safe. The USA TODAY/Ipsos poll out this morning shows 52-percent of people surveyed call Trump’s actions toward Iran reckless,” while 34-percent support him. Fifty-five percent say last week’s killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani has made America less safe while 24-percent say the nation is safer now. By more than 6-1, people surveyed say the attack made it more likely Iran will strike U.S. interests in the Middle East, lead to terrorist attacks in this country, and ultimately trigger war with Iran.
