The Effingham VFW’s first meal of the New Year will be Friday, January 3 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. They’ll be serving liver and onions, or poor man’s steak, with mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, deviled eggs, dessert, and drink for $6.00. Proceeds will benefit The Haven Home for Veterans.
