Illinois House Republicans Propose Changes To Gun Ownership Laws
(Springfield, IL) — Illinois House Republicans are proposing major changes to state gun ownership laws. One measure filed for the upcoming session would eliminate the FOID card. A ruling is pending from the Illinois Supreme Court on the constitutionality of the FOID card. Another proposal could waive the 150-dollar fee for veterans registering for concealed carry licenses.
