Former U Of I Professor Denies Abuse Allegations
(Undated) — A former University of Illinois professor is denying all allegations of abuse made in a federal lawsuit against him. Three accusers say Gary Xu inflicted physical, sexual, and emotional abuse on them during his time at the school. Xu resigned from the university in 2018 after an administrative leave from 2016 to 2018. He said in his response to the suit that he can’t discuss the terms of his separation from the university because of a non-disclosure agreement.
