Group Presents Plan To Protect Pedestrians
(Urbana, IL) — The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission has a plan to protect bicyclists and pedestrians in Urbana. The group presented the Vision Zero plan last night in an effort to stop people from getting hurt or killed on the road. The proposal would make safety improvements and plan for ways to lower the number of crashes. City officials say they don’t have the money to take part in the project, but are continuing to talk about the measure, which could move forward in the future.
