793K Americans Filed For Unemployment Last Week
(Washington, DC) — Another 793-thousand Americans are filing first-time jobless claims. While the number is still historically high, this is the fourth straight week the number of Americans filing for initial unemployment benefits has fallen. That’s only because the previous week’s high was revised upward. Still, the number was higher than forecast. Economists were expecting about 760-thousand claims.
