Congressman John Shimkus (R, Illinois-15) and AT&T will host a senior citizen tech day at your LifeSpan Center on Wednesday, August 3rd.
“Smart phones and the apps they run have changed the way we get our news, entertainment and stay connected with friends and family,” said Shimkus. “I’m pleased to be part of this event to help seniors get the most out of new technologies.”
Shimkus and trained representatives from AT&T will be on hand at your Lifespan Center from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. to help senior citizens learn:
- How to use their Smartphone or tablet
- How simple apps can help with daily life
- How to play Smartphone games, and
- How to use Skype/FaceTime to keep in touch with loved ones
The event is free of charge and attendees need not be AT&T customers to participate.
